With a commanding voice and insistent on-stage energy, Ari demands attention with his volcanically emotional presence. While influenced by Robert Plant, Chris Cornell and Steve Perry, Ari wields his own unique vocal approach with an "ability to move from intimate whisper to raw gravelly intensity" (See Reviews). Not just a pretty face, Ari is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music with a degree in Commercial Arranging and Orchestration.

His experience as a performer (guitarist, vocalist, and pianist) has taken him as far as the fjords of Scandinavia. Just prior to joining the band in 1995, Ari spent four months in Norway and Sweden on a solo tour. "That whole experience was a musical roller-coaster for me. What made it even more stimulating was the unusual hours of daylight and darkness. It really is the land of the midnight sun and this had an awesome effect on my outlook and musical development." Ari David is a visual and emotional explosion.
